TADB: The Toxin-Antitoxin DataBase

The aim of this PostgreSQL-based TADB database is to create and maintain a resource of all currently available Type 2 TA loci-relevant data ranging from 'wet' experimental data to information garnered by bioinformatics analyses. We offer TADB as a 'one-stop-shop' for ease of access to all Type 2 TA resources. Importantly, we aim to continue to further develop TADB substantially over the years ahead, both through our own initiatives and in response to user suggestions and work patterns, and are confident that TADB will facilitate efficient investigation of the many molecular, biological, cellular and evolutionary processes that relate to these mysterious but near-ubiquitous prokaryotic systems.
